For The Animals High Tea

Last Saturday I attended a charity event “For The Animals”

Mount Lawley Home

This is a charity that protects endangered animals and their habitat in South East Asia.

Slideshow of Volunteer work

It creates jobs for the homeless in the surrounding areas and teaches the people how to co exist with the environment.

Rebecca Tilbrook; founder of the organisation said “In order to help the animals we have to help the people”

A lavish high tea was set with beautiful sandwiches and sweets made lovingly by the host who wanted to remain anonymous.

Such beautiful presentation

The private home in Mount Lawley was the perfect location for a tea party spoiling us with its vibrant garden and quaint gazebo, that had been turned into a giftshop for the day … Holding raffle items, auction items and homemade treats for sale!

A lavish garden

160 people attended all dressed beautifully with hats and all.

After the delightful lunch guests were treated to a fashion parade showcasing designs from One Fell Swoop

One gorgeous table was filled with a bevvy of young beauties one celebrating her 21st birthday party… I thought this was such a lovely way to spend her birthday and donate to charity all in one hit.

All proceeds for the day went to For the Animals if you would like to find out more or donate or even volunteer your time visit their website
