This morning saw the unveiling of Perth’s newest development project.
This will be Western Australia’s first DFO store.
This $150 million development will be jointly funded by the Vicinity Centres and Perth airport.
It will be a Premium outlet experience offering 120 international and national brands all under the one roof.
This direct factory outlet will provide a dynamic mix of premium apparel, childrenswear, lifestyle, homewares & sports all available on the one level.
This outlet will offer 70% off designer brands all year round!
There are already 6 DFO stores on the East Coast and they have proved popular with fashionistas and bargain hunters alike, so now they are bringing the shopping experience to the West Coast.
As we saw this morning from the artists impression
the outlet will have a modern industrial look with aluminium, timber and polished concrete throughout, this is inspired by the surrounding environment
It’s been proved that dining experiences are just as important as the retail experience itself, therefore many contemporary dining options will be available. Playground facilities will also make the centre very welcoming for families.
The outlet will be in a highly visible location off Dunreath Road it’s central location will provide easy access for customers. Parking will be available for over 1500 cars making it easily accessible .
Kevin Brown CEO of the Perth airport sees an opportunity for growth in the retail market, he believes this outlet is placed perfectly for road rail and air. Perth needs a store of this calibre and this will add to the vibrancy of our city this project has been on time and on budget promising completion by spring 2018.
So far this project has created 900 new jobs, and upon its completion and provide 250 full-time direct jobs. I look forward to revisiting this outlet in Spring 2018 and doing a spot of retail therapy ! Continue reading
