A truly authentic Turkish delight, available early mornings in the street markets of Turkey, we decided to give it a shot right here in our test kitchen. However, they come with a warning: Eat one, eat many. This giant roll puts a kebab to shame, stacked with an overload of healthy salads, drizzled with garlic yoghurt just adds that more-ish element.
The dough used here is a standard thin crust bread / pizza dough, topped with a fusion of mince meat, marinated overnight in herbs and spices.
Stone baked for 15 minutes until the outside is crispy and the meat inner stays soft.
