When I attended the annual Pink Poker event hosted by Crown Perth on Tuesday night, I never dreamed that I would
- Pick up the game so quickly
- Have so much fun
- Make it to the finals table !!!
All whilst raising money and creating awareness for National Breast Cancer.
WHAT A NIGHT!
In its 4th year this charity tournament has become an important part of Crown Perth’s annual support campaign for Breast Cancer month during October.
Croupiers were proudly wearing Pink Poker event T-Shirts and helping non gamblers make wiser choices.
Poker tables were dressed in hot pink and the guestlist was almost as colourful as the Poker Pit itself with competition players including many Perth Celebrities such as, Carmelo Pizzino, Louise Pillidge, Chloe James and Kelly Ramsay, Blake Garvey and way too many TV and Radio Presenters to name.
Footballer Nat Fyfe arrived almost being malled by fans wanting photos and autographs on his way to the tables.
Approximately 80 guests attended many donning a splash of pink to show their support. Champagne and canapés were free flowing followed by decadent pink cupcakes.
Just under $16,000 was raised on the evening, which was then matched by Crown making it a total of $32,000 !!
More donations keep rolling in, a fantastic effort by all supporters.
